My Goals in Working with You
Welcome to my website. I am Michael Leimbach, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’ve been working in Santa Cruz County since 2001 and have had the opportunity to experience a variety of populations in different areas of focus. With a goal of establishing a safe, supportive environment, my mission is to provide the highest quality support to help you achieve your goals in therapy and take that into everyday life. I strive to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship to empower you to work through the challenges you face. I view the agreement between client (‘s) and therapist as a commitment to an honest and dedicated exploration. I believe the most productive therapy environment is one of mutual trust, safety, and respect. I will work with you in a way that builds on your strengths and potential, while addressing obstacles between you and what you want and need. My approach can be described as integrative, direct, compassionate, and caring.
